Sci-Fi Hover Design 3D/2D

A hover design of mine from paper to 3D to 2D to 3D to 2D. I am trying to practice a workflow that utilizes 3D at a minimum when concepting ideas. Although, as I get better at 3D I realize it is quicker to model certain assets in 3D to save time in the 2D process.
